Lagger – Hackney

About the Role:

Were currently looking for experienced Laggers / Thermal Insulation Engineers to join a well-established ME contractor working across commercial, residential, and industrial projects throughout Hackney. Youll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of insulation on pipework, ductwork, and vessels to ensure thermal efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply insulation materials to hot and cold pipework, ductwork, and plant.

*

Measure, cut, and fit insulation and cladding materials including aluminium, PIB, and steel).

*

Work from drawings and site instructions to meet project specifications.

*

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company HS policies.

*

Assist with pre-insulation preparation and final finishes.

*

Liaise with supervisors and site managers to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Lagger / Thermal Insulation Engineer.

*

Proficient in both hot and cold insulation systems.

*

Valid CSCS card essential).

*

Own tools and PPE preferred).

*

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
