About the Role
The role of a Mechanical Fitter holds significant importance, as it comes with a well-defined set of duties aimed at ensuring a high standard of work.

Department: Mechanical
Hours: 7am 4pm
Location: Site Based
Salary: DOE
Generally, the above hours will be flexible in line with the needs of the business. We operate a fair working policy but if any extended overtime is worked by agreement of your line manager, then overtime payment will be applicable.
Key Roles Responsibilities

Carry out the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
*
Read and interpret building drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics including highlighting any anomalies.
*
Identify faults and be able to snag your own work. Carry out any remedial action to correct this.
*
Carry out installation works in accordance with current regulations.
*
Identify any potential risks.
*
Report any recommendations to your supervisor.
*
Work effectively as part of a team in a turn-key project.
*
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
*
Timely completion of internal training.
*
Positive attitude towards work.
*
Branded uniform and PPE to be worn on all sites.
*
Maintain a high level of professionalism including punctuality and reliability.
Skills
*
Level 2 NVQ in relevant trade.
*
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
*
A UK Driving Licence.
*
Eligibility to work in the UK.
*
An in-date ECS card.
