An established ME contractor in Central London is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team. Youll be working on a range of exciting commercial projects, preparing competitive tenders and supporting the businesss growth in the thriving London market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an estimator with a few years experience looking to take the next step in their career, gain exposure to diverse projects, and develop under the guidance of experienced senior estimators and management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare mechanical cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial projects

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate costings

* Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

* Prepare bills of quantities and schedule of rates

* Attend tender review meetings and present estimates to management

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify scope and requirements

* Assist with value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities

* Maintain accurate records and tender databases

About You:

* 2+ years experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or ME contracting

* Previous experience estimating mechanical systems for commercial projects e.g. office fit-out, retail, leisure, mixed-use developments)

* Comfortable reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications

* Good understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and public health installations

* Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

* Confident communicator with good presentation skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimation software advantageous

* Eligible to live and work in the UK
