Class 2 Hiab Driver Builders Merchants

Driver Hire Uxbridge are now recruiting for HGV Cat C Class 2) HIAB Drivers on behalf of our client, one of the UK's fastest growing builders merchants based in Hayes

£2.5 to £24.5 per hour PAYE, including holiday pay)
Rates vary depending on experience, and overtime

Monday to Friday 5:3am starts daily

Duties of a HIAB Driver:

* You will carry out multidrop deliveries to commercial customers and building sites

* Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time

* Secure loads correctly using appropriate methods e.g. strapping)

* Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues

* Carry out routine vehicle checks fuel, tyres, fluid levels, etc.)

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

* Comply with all road safety and driving regulations

* Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.

Requirements:

* Valid UK Category C Class 2) licence held for at least 2 years maximum 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, TT, IN, or MS9 endorsements)

* Valid HIAB certification

* Valid CPC and digital tachograph card

* Minimum age of 25 insurance requirements)

* At least 1 year of Class 2 HIAB driving experience references required)

* Good level of physical fitness manual handling involved)

* Strong communication skills in English written and verbal)

* Good understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
