Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering project in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a 6-month contract involving the installation of a culvert beneath a dual carriageway, with an immediate start available from Monday 2th July.

The Role

As the Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering duties on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out for culvert installation and associated civils works.

* QA, inspections and quality documentation.

* Producing and maintaining accurate site records.

* Liaising with the Site Manager, subcontractors and the client.

* Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

* Supporting delivery of drainage, earthworks and reinforced concrete works where required.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.

* Experience with culverts, drainage, highways or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

* Competent using Leica, Trimble or similar surveying equipment.

* CSCS Card essential).

* SMSTS or SSSTS desirable).

* First Aid desirable).

* Full UK driving licence preferred.
