Quantity Surveyor Construction

Our client, a market leading contractor is keen to add quantity surveyors to their site-based team based around central and west London

Working from the west, they have a satellite office in London, and have been successful in winning refurbishment and fit out schemes across the leisure, retail, and residential sectors. Carrying out occupied refurbishment and fit out, including structural alterations to a variety of buildings.

The quantity surveyor will come from a contracting background and will be well versed in refurbishment and fit out schemes. Holding working knowledge of JCT contracts, you will be comfortable with managing schemes to £4m.

As a quantity surveyor, you will have the following accountabilities:

full financial control of the project

maintain cost allocation allowances

management of payments to subcontractors

full management of variations and valuations.

quantify and measure change to provide quantities

Other accountabilities will include:-

Direct line management experience

Sub-contract management experience

Contract awareness
