Kingsley Consulting are partnered with a leading European HVAC business to appoint a Project Engineer / Construction HVAC Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on HVAC projects ideally Datacentres or other mission critical projects but not essential) with demonstrable experience of either Mechanical or Electrical engineering, adept at managing various aspects of the project from delivery to handover, ensuring smooth operations, and serving as the primary liaison between the remote Project Manager our on-site teams, other contractors/stakeholders and the general contractor.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Manage commissioning labour resources for efficiency and optimal utilisation.
Lead installation, commissioning, and cleaning activities, supervising subcontractors and Service and Commissioning Teams.
Represent the organisation on-site, serving as the main contact for contractors and clients.
Conduct and attend necessary on-site meetings for project alignment and communication.
Organise necessary inductions for site personnel and visitors.
Provide regular progress reports and updates to the Project Manager.
Escalate and monitor quality and snag issues, ensuring documentation is uploaded and safety audits conducted.
Maintain all project-related records, logs, and ensure Health and Safety paperwork is up to date.
Efficiently manage site resources and plan commissioning schedules in line with client programs.
Ensure project scope is adhered to, avoiding deviations, and support day-to-day commissioning team coordination.
Assist in maintaining the project budget, identify potential cost savings or overruns, and ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
Facilitate effective collaboration between on-site teams, stakeholders, and the remote Project Manager for clear communication and project success.  
Skills Experience:

Bachelors degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project engineering, commissioning management, or project coordination, preferably on-site 3-5 years).
Already working as a supervisor on site.
Fluent in English both verbal and written.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with remote teams.
