Our client are one of the UKs leading refurbishment experts. Located in East London and established over 3 years ago, they work with organisations across the UK to transform their homes and spaces.

Reporting to the Directors and Head of Commercial , you will proactively work with the design team and commercial teams to collate pricing, design and contract documents from tender stage to build stage to ensure each project is deliverable within the allotted client budget and programme.
As a Pre-construction Manager your responsibilities include:
Planning and preparation: Overseeing the planning and preparation phases of a construction project
Budgeting: Developing project budgets and schedules, including detailed cost estimates
Feasibility: Determining project feasibility and conducting site visits to assess potential challenges
Scheduling: Developing a construction schedule
Coordination: Coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors
Regulatory compliance: Interfacing with authorities to ensure regulatory compliance
Contractual negotiation: Providing technical input, assistance, and contractual negotiation
Bid presentations: Assisting with and leading bid presentations
Project review: Reviewing projects
Design and brief development: Developing design and briefs
Technical matters: Providing detailed analysis and approvals of technical matters
Reports: Reviewing reports such as noise and traffic reports and environmental studies
In order to be successful with your application you will be able to demonstrate 5+ years experience in a pre-construction manager role, ideally in working within a main contractor or sub contractor environment and also hold a formal construction qualification and also have the following skills:
Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and drive collaborative decision-making
