We’re hiring for an Operations Manager (Ground Investigations) for a business who makes it a priority to develop each person in the direction that best suits their skills and ambitions.

You’ll manage the operations and performance of the Coventry office ensuring budgets and targets are met. You’ll support the day-to-day operations management of all projects and associated teams, and manage clients closely with the business development team.

You’ll need a relevant degree level in Geotechnical discipline or equivalent, and a full and clean UK driving license due to site visits. Plus the flexibility to manage project work. You’ll be confident and comfortable managing a team and keeping people happy – while also driving performance and constantly looking for ways to improve processes, systems, procedures, services, and delivery. You’ll be the first port of call for interviewing and onboarding, as well as monitoring the ongoing career development for the Ground Investigations team.

You’ll get a salary up to £65k (depending on experience), generous holidays, a company pension, and discounts on high street shopping. You’ll generally work a day or so from home, depending on what you’re doing and where you’re needed to be based on live projects.
