Ceto Talent is urgently hiring Mechanical Fitters for an established engineering workshop in Croydon. This ongoing role offers stability and growth in a busy environment working on the overhaul of mechanical equipment for sectors including rail, marine, and power.
Mechanical Fitter responsibilities:
* Strip-down, inspection, assembly, and testing of gearboxes, couplings, transmissions, and cooling systems.
* Reading technical drawings and working to precise tolerances.
* Maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
What we need:
* Minimum 4 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally with rotating equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently and in a team.
* Relevant qualifications or time-served apprenticeship preferred.
* You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Whats on offer:
* Salary: £29,£43, depending on experience).
* 36.5-hour week: MonThu 7:15:, Fri 7:13:3.
* Overtime available + annual bonus + benefits pension, healthcare, life assurance).
