Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Heathrow Airport
Rate: £25. per hour
Shifts: 4 months, then ongoing Days, Nights Weekends
Location: Heathrow Airport, London

About the Role:
MJM Industrial is actively recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters for long-term work at Heathrow Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a cutting-edge, high-security environment on the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced baggage handling and conveyor systems.

You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrows critical infrastructure”keeping systems running efficiently in one of the worlds busiest airports.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on large-scale conveyor and baggage handling systems

* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise system downtime

* Supporting the installation of industrial conveyor systems, motors, rollers, and gearboxes

* Collaborating closely with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to maintain safety and system performance

* Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations

What Were Looking For:

* Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial-sized conveyor systems airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments)

* Recognised mechanical qualification City Guilds or NVQ Level 3 or higher)

* Valid CSCS Card essential

* Flexible to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends

* Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset

Desirable But Not Essential):

* Experience in FMCG, automated warehousing, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments

* 5-year checkable UK work history to support Airside Pass application
