About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join a growing specialist ME contractor delivering high-spec commercial and fit-out projects across Central London. This is a hands-on site-based role where youll take full ownership of mechanical packages from design coordination through to commissioning and client handover.

Youll be joining a team known for its high standards and technical excellence in the London construction market.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full delivery of mechanical works HVAC, CHW/LTHW, public health, plumbing, etc.)

*

Lead site teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure timely, quality delivery

*

Coordinate procurement, labour, materials, and progress reporting

*

Oversee health safety on site RAMS, inductions, audits, toolbox talks)

*

Ensure works are delivered to technical specs, programme milestones and budget

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, and design teams to resolve site issues and technical queries

*

Manage commissioning, snagging, and handover documentation

Requirements:

*

4+ years' experience managing mechanical packages within ME or building services projects

*

Previous experience delivering commercial, Cat A/B fit-out, or shell core projects in London

*

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems including plantrooms and HVAC

*

Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with other trades

*

Comfortable using drawings, issuing RFIs, and tracking progress reports

*

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS black/gold), First Aid desirable)

*

Trade or degree-qualified in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering
