We are currently seeking a Junior Designer that is looking to continue their career within the office Dandamp;B Fit Out sector. This is a position where you will be able to grow and expand knowledge within the field. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in creating technical drawing packages for our projects using AutoCAD
* Carry out building surveys using laser measure (all measuring equipment will be supplied)
* Accompany Technical Designer to site as andamp; when required for site meetings
* Communicate with Clients andamp; Sub-Contractors by phone andamp; electronically via email
* Print drawing packs for use on site andamp; client meetings
* Ensure the drawing issue sheet is up to date with the correct revisions
* Issuing of drawings to sub-contractors and clients
* Work closely with the internal Design, Projects andamp; Finance Teams
* Ensure in-house printing equipment for CAD drawings is readily available and fully functional at all times.
Required Skills and Experience:
* 1-3 Years experience using AutoCAD / Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Sketchup
* Technical design/drawing based education or work placement experience
* Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word andamp; Excel
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* Understanding of the current Building Regulations
* Experience of measured building survey
* Revit Experience
