Remuneration: 70,000 - 80,000 + Discretionary Bonus
Benefits: Company Car / Car Allowance (6,000) & Benefits
The role of the Contracts Manager Concrete Repair Services will involve:
* Contracts Manager position promoting a high quality range of concrete repair services / maintenance
* Managing all aspects of: surveying, financial, contractual, programming/planning, leadership and communication
* Having ultimate control over the delivery of multiple complex projects with values circa 3m
* Managing pre-contract planning and liaison with Estimators
* Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
* Ensuring company's Health and Safety and Integrated Management Systems (IMS) procedures are complied with
* Responsible for accepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts
* Managing all projects are completed on time and within budget
* Liaising, negotiating, and meeting clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, and sub-contractors
* Responsible for providing accurate information for regional monthly appraisals and various other reports
* Assisting with the preparation of quality bids, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and other presentations as required
* Responsible for the recruitment / dismissal off staff for their team
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager Concrete Repair Services industry with:
* Must have a proven track record within the contracting market sector
* Ideally a Contracts Manager in the concrete market sector however would consider other building or groundwork & light civils backgrounds
* Must have experience managing the financial elements of a project
* Ideally will have construction related degree
* Ideally have some sort of mentoring experience
* Confident and articulate
* High self confidence
* Wants to take charge and be in control
