Setsquare is actively hiring for a Document Controller for a long term Temp to Perm role based around the Greenwich area.

Job Title : Construction Document Controller

Location : Greenwich

Job type : Temp to perm.

Start date : ASAP.

Sector : Healthcare project

Shift hours : 8 hours a day.

Job Details:

Working closely with and reporting to the Contracts Manager CM)
First point of contact for all clients end users and funding authorities) throughout the duration of the project.
Scheduling and sequencing of projects to the appropriate staff members.
Assisting the CM as required with purchase ordering, deliveries and stock control
Ensuring that project paperwork is complete, up to date and correct at all times.
Completion returning of contract documents where applicable) to the funding authority/client, such as minor works agreements, health and safety documents KPI forms.
Checking Asbestos reports and translating the information to our operatives or arranging the necessary removals prior to works commencing.
Awareness of and highlighting specific non-standard project information for the office and fitters.
Contacting clients to book all projects in and arrange timings.
Sequencing the work for each trade at each stage of the project, including data entry onto project system and ensuring accurate descriptions of works, dates of attendance and confirming that each member of staff is aware of his work schedule.
Monitoring of timescales on each project to ensure completion within required timescales.
Reacting to changes in project execution caused by unforeseen issues or external agencies, in order to minimise delays. Purchasing of project specific items that will be requested during the course of the ongoing works.
Collation of all paperwork within each project file including variation instructions and all other applicable information to enable completed projects to be invoiced as quickly as possible.
Scheduling the CM to attend each project to ensure quality control and final sign off.
Scheduling and rectification of any snagging issues advised by CM, who will give a realistic idea of how long they will take to rectify how urgent they are so that CA can plan who is to attend when in the most economical manner.
Daily logging of all external operative's activities and locations visited, along with collation of their work time sheets.
Any other reasonable administrative duties that may be requested from time to time.
