CNC Machine Operator

Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Machine Operators to join a leading manufacturing company based in Witton, Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals with a background in engineering or machining to secure long-term, ongoing work within a well-established and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machinery in line with production specifications
Monitor machines during operation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Carry out quality checks to maintain high manufacturing standards
Perform basic maintenance and adjustments as required
Adhere to all health and safety proceduresRequirements:

Proven experience as a machinist or within an engineering/manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Reliable, team-focused, and flexible approachDetails:

4 on / 4 off shift pattern - rotating days and nights 12-hour shifts)
£12.5 per hour to start  Training Rate
Parity pay after 12 weeks, with rates increasing to around £2+ per hour depending on grade
