We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Fabricator / MIG Welder for a permanent position installing steelwork on secure government sites, including prisons.
This is a stable, full-time role offering regular overtime, a company vehicle you can take home, and long-term career security.
Duties Responsibilities
* Fabricate and weld structural steelwork including security doors, gates, grilles, handrails and staircases
* Work accurately from technical engineering drawings
* Assist with on-site installation across secure sites
* Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as a fabricator / welder
* MIG welding experience essential
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Full UK driving licence
* Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check essential due to secure sites)
Hours Benefits
* Monday to Friday 7:3am to 4:3pm
* Overtime paid at 1.5x after 4 hours
* Regular overtime available
