6G TIG Welder

We are recruitng for a skilled 6G TIG welder to join a large engineering facility

The ideal canddiate will have extensive experience in TIG welding across various materials and have the ability to work with precisoon within industry standards.

Duties

* Coded welding on pipe and plate

* 2G or 6G, TIG, MIG and Pulse MIG Welding position on pipe

* Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes Butt Welds and fillets) and plates

* Positional welding on pressure vessels, boilers, pressure parts and superheater pipework, etc

The Ideal Candidate:

* Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

* Be confident with 6G TIG welding

* Will have had previous qualifications/codings

* Weld trade test will be required which will be x-rayed

* Will have ability to butt welds tube to tube) and pass X-ray. DPI and MPI

General rate of pay starting at up to £17.5 per hour depending on skills/experience) £18.5 for both welders and fabricators, once qualified and competent

Dayshift:

7.54am-4.3pm Mon to Thurs

7.54am-1.3pm Fridays

We also have positions for nights after initial day / training period)

Monday to Friday: Time + Third

Saturday: Time + Half

Sunday: Double Time
